FSC Friday

Join us for a Global Celebration of Responsible Forestry

FSC Friday ~ A day dedicated to promoting responsible forest management. A day to celebrate all the ways in which we bring people together to care for our world's forest.

For 25 years, FSC has worked to take care of forests and the people, plants, and animal species that depend on them. The FSC label assures that wood, paper, and other forest products have been responsibly sourced from well-managed forests and recycled materials.

Every year on the last Friday of September, FSC-certified businesses, and promotional licence holders, as well as schools and organisations all around the world host a series . of events to raise awareness of responsible forest management and the role FSC plays in it. It can be celebrated in many ways, from a drawing competition to a field trip, posters displayed in a shop, you name it!

No matter the choice of celebration, FSC Friday is all about sharing the message of “Forests for All Forever” to enable more people to recognise the value of forests and how important it is to take care of them.
