Over 750 FSC Members and leaders from Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations, Trade Unions, Environmental groups, Companies, and individuals came together during the 9th FSC General Assembly (GA) in Bali Indonesia from 09-14 October 2022.

New FSC Malaysia Board of Directors (2022-2024 term)

FSC is pleased to announce a partnership with the UN-REDD Lower Mekong Initiative. This partnership will see us fully commit to developing a Sustainable Tropical Timber Information Hub. Buyers, sellers and other interested parties including trading companies, government agencies, and industry players in Malaysia are also invited to join FSC’s Sustainable Tropical Timber Trade Network. 

Discussion paper submitted to FSC International and introducing the 18-member Consultative Assembly

FSC Malaysia has published its new FSC National Forest Stewardship Standard (NFSS), which now includes requirements for non-timber forest products (NTFP) (e.g. natural rubber/latex), among others.
