Mr. Jong assumes the role as the official representative for FSC in Malaysia, spearheading the expansion of its national network, building the profile of FSC in Malaysia, and protecting the credibility and integrity of the FSC brand. Mr. Jong hails from Kuching, and brings private sector project management experience to this task.

Malaysia is a key player in the world’s forest industry, particularly in the tropics, and growing FSC’s vision and goals in the country will ultimately deliver a sustained, sustainable supply of tropical timber.”
